Mario: Past and Present By Dhruv Walia
Mario was born in 1980. Nintendo Co. Ltd. was looking for the name of character in their first and all time hit game Donkey Kong. Can you believe he was named after landlord of a warehouse “Mario Segale!” Now you must be wondering how did Mario get his funny looks. Remember Mario was created in 1980 and the designer Miyamoto had a challenge to design a character with limited money. They used hat to avoid showing hairs, moustache and big nose to make it look funny. Mario’s outfit changed from game to game but the colors were blue and red. Mario changed with every new game. From Nintendo to Super Nintendo to Game boy to Nintendo 64 to Game Cube and now Wii. Mario looks the same but his games have improved with graphics and speed and fun. See below for improved graphics

Some of the Mario’s all time hits are Donkey Kong (1981, Aracade), Mario Bros. (1983, Arcade), Super Marios Bros (1985, with this game he entered our houses), Super Mario Land (1989, now it was in our hands), Super Mario World (1991) Yoshi’s Island (1995), Super Mario Sunshine (2002). But the next landmark is yet to come which again changed the gaming systems and that is Wii. Now in Wii we do not use regular controller, but a motion sensor controller.
You use strategies to unlock puzzles and mysteries and exercise with this video game. So now parents know while playing video games we are getting exercise also. Even parents can play with us. Here are my two latest favorites:
The first one is SuperSmashBros.Brawl. In this game you can, use many characters you can use from Nintendo. Like Mario or Bowser. The objective of the game is to knock the other player of by fighting. There is also adventure mode. You can unlock many characters like Luigi or Ganondorf.
The other game I want to tell you about is Super Mario Galaxy. The story of this game is Mario is going to a party but Bowser shows up. He kidnaps Princess Peach and takes her away. Mario jumps onto the castle but an evil wizard knocks him away. Mario wakes up at Planet Plant. Three bunnies wake him up and take him to a space station. In the space station a woman tells him that the only way to save Peach is to power up the station with Grand Stars. Once he gets six of them. He can go to the center of the universe and fight Bowser.

Of course I have a Wii Dhruv. The Wii is the best game system I ever played so far. I love the Mario and the Star War games. SuperSmashBros.Brawl and Star Wars the Complete Saga are my favorites. Even my parents like them. We especially like the part where we can use the sensor controllers to play and exercise exactly at the same time.
In Star Wars the Complete Saga we can swing the controller like a lightsaber, (they are blades made of light) but if you don't want to exercise you can press the b button and you still can swing the lightsaber. Isn't that awesome! The graphics are also way better than the ones on Gamecube or Gameboy.

Dhruv, I like post and all, and I do want a Wii, and the first game I'm going to get is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but why didn't you do MADDEN 08. Dude, the it's one of the best games out there. It has awesome gameplay, and very smooth. Well, this post was good to, so nice post.
Yes, I do have a Wii. My favorite video game for Wii is Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga because you can goof around in realistic Star Wars Lego quests and levels for example, when you die, Lego flies everywhere where you died and you get built back together!

tip #1: Use your strengths, forget about weaknesses.
Use your advantages during games. For example, if you use a strong offensive stam with a weak defense (like the Indianapolis Colts), try to win high scoring shoot-outs insead of getting stressed on Defense.If you play as the Baltimore Ravens of the Chicago Bears, play all out defense. Try hard to creat turnovers on clutch plays, blitz with the safety, forcing the quarterback to throw for an interception, or hit the running back so hard he fumbles the ball, instead of pressurizing yourself with your horrible offense.
Tip #2: Evaluate other teams strengths.
Use the other teams weaker players to make perfect catches or awesome turnovers. On the defense, if the quarterback is a rookie or an beginner, pressurize him to throw key interceptions, or pressurize the better receivers. On offense, same thing. Use the better recievers like Marvin Harrison and Randy Moss against rookies or backups, and also shift the lineup.
Finally, tip #3: NEVER use the same team over and over again. If people you play against notice, they will find out weaknesses, and then destroy you in the game. Use different teams depending on your mood.

I have a wii Dhruv,and I have played one Mario game, one of the ones you mentioned; Super Mario Galaxy.It is exciting and fun;I think everyone should give it a try!
My favorite game councils are the Wii, DS, and Gamecube. I have played a few mario games like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Mario Bros..I do have a Wii and Gamecube but only have the games: Pokemon XD and Colosseum and I also have Wii Play and Sports.
Oh yeah, I have more tips for the fantasy draft and franchise mode for madden 08. For fantasy draft, put hall of fame players on, and just pick some decent players and simulate the rest of the draft. Always pick a good running back, reciever, quarterback, and cornerback. I got a really good pick of Barry Sanders, Hines Ward, Champ Bailey, and Antonio Gates. In this game, it is essential to use the players to the kind of offensive attack. If the team is a running team, get a good running back, unless your quarterback has star potential. There is one blog.
My friend also has a wii. Every Saturday I go to his house and play it.It's cool you can attach it to the gamecube too.On the wii, I am waiting for Super Smashbros brawl to come out.
Adding to my last blog. Since that now I got the game Super Smash Bros.Brawl, I can tell that it is awesome. I already completed a lot of it. I especially like Lucario, since he is very powerful. I think you should too. Fox and Wolf are also terrific because they are really fast and can dodge enemies really easily. Another game I like is Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. It is really fun and exciting. Nice post you posted Dhruv.
